Introduction
Labyrinth on the Thames has established itself over several years as one of London’s premier open-air concert series showcasing world class musical artists against the backdrop of the UNESCO awarded world heritage site of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London.
With the incredible heatwave that has grasped most of the UK this weather beautifully showcases the Labyrinth on the Thames concert series making for a magical festival vibe down in Greenwich right alongside the river Thames, in fact this very day with a high tide the river was lapping at the pathway adjoining the back of the vast beautiful courtyard of the Old Naval Yard College grounds that the concert is hosted on.
Career Summary
During his career Moby broke through with hits in the ninteies and naughties such as the danceclub hits as Go, Body Rock, Porcelain and Why does my Heart feel so bad, but it was his fifth album Play that garnered commercial success, and he is still showing how he still loves to make and perform live music and with this concert of the Labyrinth series to sell out it would seem his army of fans still appreciate and love his music, talent, empowerment of championing animal rights and his unique vision.
The events music was provided by a diverse array of artists such as King Booo, Rex the Dog (replacing Planningtorock who was ill), Sofia Kourtesis and DJ SWIM the show has more than enough vibrations and energy for an open air party and they don’t fail to entertain and please the crowd on such a sunkist day drawing in the summertime nights.
Moby called upon several special guests including the hugely talented soul singer Jacob Lusk performing When it’s Cold and Natural Blues also with Kiko Franco which would no doubt cast people’s minds back to the 90s and 00’s to complete this special celebration of Moby’s catalog and to showcase new songs from his latest album “Future Quiet” which is his 23rd album release.

One of the musicians who has been touring with Moby – Andrea Whitt – plays the Pedal Steel, Viola and Fiddle working with Moby for the past 3 years as a touring musician, she is also an artist in her own right and she has lovingly designed animated and physical setlists of her shows with Moby and she has now for the first time decided to make these physical set-lists available for fans to purchase, these will be avaliable in limited numbers of 50 per show.

Whitt explains, “The setlist is the most honest document in the building, and nobody keeps it,” Whitt said. “It’s the only object that records exactly what happened that night, in that room, in that order – and every night it ends up on the floor or in someone’s pocket. I started drawing them because I didn’t want to lose them. Twenty-nine shows later, I realised I’d made something.”
