Indie alt rockers “Egyptian Blue” originating from Brighton make a resurgent powerful spiritally charged performance at one of Londons favourite small underground venues “The Social”.
This being their 2nd show of 2026 the band perform some of their new in works material plus older fan favourite songs to a raptous crowd. supported by the “Martial Arts” band who whipped the crowd in to shape before Egyptian Blue took to the stage.
A heady sweaty fun show with Andy Buss on vocals and guitar giving a solid footing with the band boucing off of each other’s energy, haunting intricate guitars layering the lush melodies and rhythms with deafening hard hitting tight drum and bass section raised many a hair on the back of the neck throughout the show.
With joyous scenes of a good bunch of people dancing away no wonder the show was packed with everyone hitting dopamine levels not normally felt for a Thursday night, with new songs down down a storm its only a matter of time before we’ll see some new music released.
